Meta’s "Open-Source" DINO v3: Systematic Discrimination Against Chinese Users

Disappointed that my DINO v3 access request on Hugging Face was rejected with no clear reason—just like many other Chinese users I saw in the community. Meta calls it "open-source," but systematically denying access to Chinese researchers/developers is not open-source at all—it’s nationality-based discrimination. Open-source should be inclusive, not exclusive. Meta needs to be transparent about its review criteria and stop this unfair practice. Who else had the same experience? Let’s speak up together!
