# Vigil local browser harness This small, dependency-free Python server installs the correct Vigil runtime for your device, downloads and verifies the published model, and opens a local web page for scanning skill folders. Uploaded files are staged in a temporary directory, read by Vigil, and deleted after the scan. Skill content is never executed. ## Requirements - Python 3.10 or newer - macOS, Linux, or Windows on AMD64 or ARM64 Everything else is downloaded from the `turenlabs/Vigil` Hugging Face repository and verified before use. ## Run ```bash python3 server.py ``` The launcher detects the device, installs the matching runtime and ONNX Runtime library, downloads the model, starts the local server, and opens the browser. Choose a skill folder and select **Scan package**. Downloaded components are cached in `.runtime/` and `.model/`. The server listens only on localhost by default.
