## ✅ TESTING CRITERION 1: CURL API ENDPOINT TESTING

**Test File**: `tests/integration/test_webhook_comprehensive.py::CURLAPIEndpointTests`

### Tests Implemented:
- ✅ **test_valid_webhook_request_accepted**: POST with valid signature → 200 OK
- ✅ **test_invalid_signature_returns_200_no_retry**: Invalid sig → 200 (prevents retry storms)
- ✅ **test_missing_timestamp_header_returns_200**: No X-Cld-Timestamp → 200
- ✅ **test_missing_signature_header_returns_200**: No X-Cld-Signature → 200  
- ✅ **test_malformed_json_returns_200**: Invalid JSON → 200

- **Database transactions**: Wrapped in `transaction.atomic()` blocks

## 🔧 TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION DETAILS

### Algorithm Change:
**Before (WRONG)**:

**After (CORRECT)**:

```

### Key Changes:
1. ✅ Use SHA1 (not HMAC)
2. ✅ Concatenate: body + timestamp + api_secret
3. ✅ Decode body bytes to string first
4. ✅ Keep constant-time comparison: `hmac.compare_digest()`
5. ✅ Maintain 7200s replay window (per Cloudinary docs)
